Steffen Ki

Steffen has been producing electronic music for more then 20 years now. He is also the curator of the medicine music label NUMA and co-founder of In Spirit : Holistic Music Production Retreat - a retreat that fuses the technical aspects of music production with spiritual practices to channel creativity and inspiration. Up until today Steffen has produced and released more than 100 tracks in the genres of Deep House, Melodic Techno, Organic Downtempo, Ambient and Sound Healing- and Meditation Music. He shares his experience in personal and online 1-on-1 classes as well as music production workshops and mentors healing music producers in his Academy for Sonic Sourcery.

  • Is this course for me if I have no experience with Ableton or Music Production?

    Yes! The course is very beginner friendly and takes into account that you might open up Ableton for the first time. I included a basic introduction into the main features and workflow of the software.

  • I already have a basic understanding of music production. Are there any benefits in taking this course?

    As you might already know there are as much approaches to music production as there are producers out there. Watching my unique workflow that I have refined over the last 20 years might give you new insights and inspiration especially if you are new to the genre of Shamanic Downtempo.

  • Do I need Ableton for this course and if so which version?

    Although the concepts and ideas I present in this course can technically be applied to any other Music Production Software (DAW) , I focus on Ableton and small details might be organized differently in another DAW.
